This Lupin Merino wool is 100% Merino and has a weight of 50gm per ball. It is knitted on a 4mm needle, giving a tension of 22sts x 30rows per 10cm. The length per ball is approximately 105m. It features excellent washability, being suitable for gentle hand washing. Merino wool is a finer, softer option than regular wool and offers great insulation, moisture transport and anti-static properties. It is lightweight, won't itch, and retains shape well, making it ideal for baby garments. The Golden Apple carefully sourced this Merino wool from the South Island, scouring it in Timaru and processing it in Christchurch.
